Hudson Ray was born at 3:12 on August 11th 2008! He weighed 9lbs 11oz, and was 22.5 inches long. Labor and delivery was completely different than Easton. Only 8 hrs compared to 16 with Easton and my epidural was absolutely amazing this time!! Made it MUCH more enjoyable!!

Easton totally LOVES his little brother...he is very gentle with him. Easton has to get his stool and put it next to the bassinet so he can check on him throughout the day, he even comes inside from playing and will have to check on "baby Hudson".

This is Easton on his way up to meet his little brother right after he was born. He had to pack all his favorite cars and toys in his backpack "to share with baby Hudson"! I think you can just see the pride in this pic...and what a big boy!! The only sad thing is that Easton doesn't understand why Hudson can't play with him. He's always asking me to put Hudson on the floor so he can play. And the day we came home from the hospital he wanted us to come outside....so when we got out there he wanted Hudson to swing on the baby swing thats on our swingset and he wanted to swing on the glider swing next to him!! It broke my heart to tell him that Hudson was too small for the swing....because you could tell that Easton was so excited to play with him!!!
Eaton likes to share his cars with Hudson too....I find matchbox cars in the bassinet with him throughout the day....too cute! I know they will be best buddies before we know it!!
Hudson at exactly 48hrs old. He is an excellent eater...the first couple of nights he wasn't the best sleeper but lastnight he was perfect!! Slept 3hrs at a time...got up, ate, burped, and went right back to sleep!! Lets hope for more of those nights!! So....I think my camera is on the fritz....It's taking very dark pix so I don't have any more good ones to share....so we might be going camera shopping!

Awww, SO cute. Luc use to do the exact same things with putting the stool up to the bassinett etc. They are so cute with them until they start taking their toys and making them mad! LOL Good luck with continued good nights. Can't wait to meet your new addition!
Oh wow-he is a DOLL! He has his Daddy's chin! I'm so glad that your labor and delivery went great and that he is eating and sleeping like a champ! Easton sounds like he is a perfect big brother so far! Congrats you guys!
